Myanmar helpers have become one of the most common choices for Singapore families over the past few years. Salaries usually sit at the lower end of the market, and many families hire them for housekeeping and caring for older relatives. The catch is that a larger share are working abroad for the first time, often with basic English, so the agency's screening and training matter more than usual. These nine agencies all place Myanmar helpers and each has a clear reason to be on your shortlist.

Mizo helpers come from Mizoram, a state in north-east India, so they are Indian nationals. Two agencies on this list, Maidcity and Sunrise Link, place both. Ask the agency which country's paperwork applies, since it affects the timeline.
Search the agency's name or licence number in MOM's Employment Agencies Directory. It shows whether the licence is valid, along with the agency's retention rate, transfer rate and any demerit points.
